leslieleToday, I celebrate keeping my kid alive for 9 whole years. YAY for me!! He's been having a pretty awesome day, considering. He got the day off school because of the holiday, and he is THRILLED. He liked his presents, has been enjoying playing video games, and is a little bummed that he can't go sledding. It's something like -15 with the windchill. I'd like him to keep his face.
I'm self-medicating today, because my hands are in agony. I keep massaging them. I cut my nails as short as I could. I've been using my meds appropriately. Ugh. I'm just tired, though. These meds make me so sleepy.
I also think I messed up with pulling the trigger with Andrew. I was having a blythe moment yesterday, and asked him if he liked me enough to be exclusive. *sigh* He, of course, was like, "Ummmmmm I'm looking for a gf and a wife." which is COUNTER to what he said on our first date. Which was only a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure where I am with him right now. I'm going to let him make the next move, even though I want to just BEG him to see me tonight or tomorrow.
Gonna have to keep my brain busy instead.
